Mid Lake Golden Retrievers is a perfect addition to our group here at Mid Lake Farms.  We began Mid Lake Cavaliers in 2007 and then added Mid Lake Great Pyrenees in 2020 which is focused on our farm critters (Cattle, chickens and ducks) and felt that the beautiful Golden Retrievers was a perfect fit to complete our sweet dog group.  We’ve grown quite a bit since 2007 and moved location to South Carolina from upstate New York in 2023 and now to Bowman Georgia in January 2026.  Our commitment to health and uncompromising selective standards within all of our breeds are just some of the things that we hold very dear. 

We’ve had dogs our entire lives which was mostly focused on Border Collies as pets until the Cavaliers appeared, and then the Pyrs and Goldens and it’s been love ever since! 

Our farm includes the Cavaliers and their new friends, the Great Pyrenees and Golden Retrievers as well as cows, horses, chickens and ducks.  We enjoy the freedom of working from home which affords the dogs all the attention and time daily that they require.

We also live on a beautiful scenic piece of property in Bowman GA. The dogs enjoy a beautiful, picturesque property with lots of room outdoors to play.

We also believe in giving the dogs everything that they need to succeed.  Success with dogs is not only training, care and love it also includes a very high quality food.  We feed the dogs only human grade holistic food from Beaverdam dog food which is for puppy/adults.  The dogs are played with outside several times per day to keep their mental state just as sharp as their physical state.

All of our puppies are hand raised with extra love and care and as long as our parents are healthy and strong, they are making healthy happy babies.  The puppies are also very well socialized prior to going to their new homes and we feel that nutrition and socialization are key components in a successful long term relationship with their new family.
